Job 8622: VP- US Payroll Operations

Location: NY-Manhattan  
Mid-Atlantic (DE, DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA & WV)
Salary Range: up to 250k (100-150k base + bonus)
Bonus & Incentives: Bonus based on performance
Position Responsibilities: VP- US Payroll Operations Principle Responsibilities: • Successfully deliver of all US Payrolls. • Deploy key new system/process changes. • Ensure accurate payroll preparation/processing, tax reporting/compliance, and overall administration/maintenance of payroll systems. • Increase efficiencies in accordance with operational and financial objectives. • Develop and maintain best practices and continuous improvement initiatives designed to increase overall process effectiveness. • Ensure sound controls are maintained and followed in compliance with existing internal/external governance controls. • Participate in special projects including continued development and planning of payroll systems and overall process improvement. • Assist in Implementing global Payroll application during 2008/2009 • Provide support in designing the roll-out of employee self-service • Manage transition of basic payroll processing and call center operations to off-shore Shared Service Center
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Experience/Skills: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance • At least 7-10 years Payroll experience in a large multi-national/global Industry • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role • Demonstrate ability to quickly develop positive working relations and effectively promote and induce change • Strong evidence of superior interpersonal and customer service skills required • Prior Experience with ADP/Psoft. • Working knowledge of Tax laws, regulations and ongoing mandated changes. Experience with Shared Service Center
