| Position Responsibilities: |
•Establish and maintain accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.
•Prepare, analyze, interpret, reconcile and communicate internal financial information to management on a timely basis. Key deliveables include:
oConsolidated Month end Analysis & Commentary of Financial Results
oConsolidated Monthly Forecast Commentary
oQuarterly Reporting to Corporate Controller’s Department
oConsolidated Annual Plan Analysis & Commentary
•Manage and/or participate in ad-hoc reporting, special projects, & audit requests as they arise
•Lead business process refinement & analysis of accounting issues/complexities.
•Direct responsibility for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
•Lead and direct a team of 9 staff |
| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CPA Required |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
•8-10 years work experience in related function or combination of public accounting/industry
•CPA required
•Strong accounting skills, quantitative analysis capabilities and attention to detail are a must.
•Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
•Excellent verbal & written communication skills
•Professional
•Strong interpersonal skills; ability to nurture and develop successful working relationships with colleagues and management
•Self Motivated
•Proactive and sound judgment
•Ability to set priorities and work in a time sensitive environment
•Management experience
Education
• BS in Finance or Accounting
•CPA certification
•Proficient with MS Word & Excel
•Experience with SAP, BW, & SEM a plus.
