| Position Responsibilities: |
In today’s economy, this company stands tall. Revenues and profits were up over 30% in 2007, business backlog is at an all time high, and acquisition candidates are on the horizon. Here is a decentralized make-to-contract/make-to-spec business with strong margins and high quality that serves global markets. Leadership is balance sheet and cash management driven; however, focused on organic growth and prudent acquisitions to double by 2012.
OPPORTUNITY: Report to CFO and the Audit Committee. Brand new role previously done by Big 4. CFO is looking for a hands-on leader that can be promoted within 24-30 months. Conduct financial and operational reviews to ensure corporate and SOX compliance. Executive team wants the Director to follow up on recommendations; evaluate and project manage change; analyze potential risks; and provide advisory support on initiatives to improve and build business. The goal is to ensure that the infrastructure is functioning correctly and can sustain organic growth and future acquisitions.
Establish audit and advisory function which will be a grooming ground for promotable talent. Participate on wide range of events that range from probes of potential acquisitions to challenges of setting up a shared service to analysis of vendor contracts to the implementation of change following lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.

BS a must; CPA or CIA wanted; MBA ideal. Seek 8+ years of business experience preferably groomed by Big 4 or National CPA firm. Must have strong exposure to manufacturing and supply chain operations as well as experience with international profit centers. |
