| Position Responsibilities: |
Due to growth and pending promotion, CFO wants to hire another highly motivated, hands-on accounting leader to function as an “interim Controller” and business consultant to operating divisions. Business grew organically 23% in 2007 and averaged 15-20% organic growth in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Join a global B2B business run by ex-investment bankers that have accomplished #1 and #2 market share in underdeveloped niches. Businesses enjoy 75+% reoccurring revenue; has excellent cash flow and profits; and has multi-year contacts with medium to large corporations in North America, Europe and Far East.
OPPORTUNITY: Empowering and entrepreneurial environment that is B/S and cash management focused. Concentrate on North America operations that consist of 14 regional profit centers and over 100 field offices. Must be willing to get hands-on with financial controls, systems, and processes. This will be a very challenging and exciting opportunity providing exposure to every aspect of their operations. It will require heavy periodic travel (70-80%) and be very project focused. Report to CFO and contribute across all business segments.
Projects will vary and examples are: be interim Controller at a profit center; recommend and implement process improvement solutions to enhance finance and business operations; assist divisional CFO on accounting related projects; partner on ERP implementation; conduct business reviews of profit centers; identify best practices opportunities; plan and/or implement core accounting processes like A/R, A/P, C&C, billing, pricing/quoting, and financial reporting; assist CFO on due diligence, acquisition integration and global profit center start-ups; and evaluate targeted areas that could yield significant cost savings (i.e. ROI; vendor agreements; shared services initiatives).

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
BS Accounting a must. CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus. Multi-lingual a plus. Seek 6+ years experience with a mid-size to Big 4 CPA firm or business accounting in a multi-location distribution, manufacturing or B2B service. Must have success at making a difference, improving processes, and resolving problems. Must be able to multi-task; have business acumen beyond accounting skills; possess strong project management skills; and be able to effectively communicate from staff to C-level. Must “want to make a difference” and have upside potential. |
