| Position Responsibilities: |
Our client is well capitalized and has invested in technology to achieve its business objectives creating "best in class" systems --the specific responsiblities include direction and supervision of all activities of Underwriting and Credit Scoring and continued development of the Company’s underwriting standards, manuals, procedures and systems. In partnership with the COO and CFO, the Director of Underwriting will develop the annual business objectives and create strategies and tactics to achieve them |
| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
• Must have 7-10 years of business experience, including 3-5 years in subprime small business or credit card underwriting. Experience in both consumer and small business lending is highly preferred.
• Solid experience managing, motivating and inspiring staff of 10 or more.
• Strong credit analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex personal and business tax returns and credit reports |
