| Position Responsibilities: |
Growing and dynamic San Francisco based software company (publicly held) with international operations is seeking an experienced corporate Controller for a key leadership role. Position reports to the CFO and supervises a team of accounting professionals to manage the accounting close, international consolidations, financial and managerial reporting, SOX compliance and revenue recognition processes. Additional responsibilities may include managing the SEC reporting process, ERP implementation, Treasury and. Fast-paced, team focused environment with outstanding benefits package. Responsibilities
• Manage worldwide accounting operations, including month-end, quarterly and annual closings and consolidations (international)
• Manage Revenue Recognition function
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Perform Management and Board of Director reporting
• Manage or provide back-up support for SEC reporting, depending on level of expertise
• Work closely with VP of Finance (peer position); potential for managing Treasury, Tax and SEC Reporting functions
• Research, resolve and document accounting issues
• Develop, maintain and ensure ongoing compliance with accounting
policies and procedures
• Assume leadership position in ongoing SOX policy and control environment
• Other projects as needed

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CPA required |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
• Accounting Degree (formal training in accounting)
• CPA required
• 10+ years operational experience
• High-tech software industry experience
• International accounting
• Experience with revenue recognition in the software or related industry
• SEC reporting: filings, drafts, disclosures, responses, research, and all schedules
• Significant experience managing/working with external audit staff for quarter end review and year end audit procedures and sign-off
• Major ERP accounting system experience
• Proficiency in Excel
