| Position Responsibilities: |
Our client is a nationwide not for profit charitable organization that through loans funds the building programs of its constituent members around the country. Currently this thriving and growing organization has some 700 real estate loans totaling $450mm, and over the next 5 years could grow this to $1Billion.
The hired individual will lead a staff of 7 credit and credit administration people in the daily management and growth of this portfolio. He or she will manage the underwriting process and chair the loan committee, at which loans ranging from $100m for a renovation project up to $14mm for land acquisition, development and construction, can be approved.
The person will be a member of the asset and liability committee and will interact regularly with other members of the headquarters staff, and most important, with the leadership of the regional affiliate member organizations. This position requires someone with good technical skills, but also a person who leads and motivates others through a collaborative management style. This individual must also demonstrate the style and desire to communicate and negotiate effectively with various internal constituencies of highly professional and capable individuals.
The hired person must be comfortable in trading off higher monetary rewards in favor of great job security, and the ability to grow professionally while making a positive difference in the lives of many people. A salary of up to $100,000 is enhanced by a comprehensive medical plan that pays all premiums for complete medical, dental and vision coverage, and an excellent company paid pension plan with immediate vesting.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Ten years of lending and credit administration managment experience, with at least 3 years of managing others in this area. This person will not have any new business responisbilities |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
Same as above, but with 15 and 7 years of experience respectively. |
