| Position Responsibilities: |
Monitor and assess the impact of emerging accounting developments & their potential impact on the Corporation and will follow the activities of accounting standard-setting groups, including the FASB, SEC, EITF, and AICPA.
Research numerous ad-hoc projects that impact the corporation.
Serve as the internal expert on interpretation and application of GAAP.
Write comment letters to the SEC and work with regulatory entities to deliver effective corporate accounting practices.
Review new products, businesses, corporate transactions and contracts, constructing effective accounting and operational strategies.
The preceding is a general overview. The impact of this position upon the overall success of the corporation is immeasurable.

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
6-8 years experience and Bachelor’s degree required. The successful candidate will be a CPA or someone who is on a CPA track. In any case, strong technical accounting and communication skills are required, preferably with experience in a public company. |
