| Position Responsibilities: |
responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring the bank’s compliance program to ensure that each functional area of the bank achieves and maintains compliance with all applicable banking laws and regulations. Responsible for compliance audits and examinations, the dissemination and analysis of new or revised laws and regulations, research on compliance issues, compliance training, and the bank’s overall compliance policies and procedures. Functions as the CRA Officer. At this point our Operations person is functioning as the BSA Officer. That seems to be working but I would think that would be open to discussion moving forward.
3 to 5 years experience in a compliance department of a bank. Must be familiar with all compliance and reporting requirements. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will consider experience in lieu of degree.
