| Position Responsibilities: |
This position reports to the Vice president of Group Sales and is responsible for generating and managing the sales activities in the approximately fifteen states presently not supported by a field sales office or marketing partner. In addition, the role will assist in developing a network of third party distributors in the assigned territory and participate in brand building and business development activities on a national level. This individual will manage the Home Office Group Sales Specialists that provide sales support to producers in the territory and a limited number of field sales offices, ensuring the appropriate levels of customer service are delivered in the quote and new business process.
A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the non-medical group products or insurance industry, strong sales and management skills, using advanced communication, analytical, and relationship-builiding skills |
