Our client is a mature Midwestern, Independent Broker Dealer looking a for a strong Wholesaler to internally market their Fee-based programs.
The incumbant will only be working with the client firm's Registered Representative workforce to market an internal asset allocation program that provides an investment path for their clients. The incumbant's home base may be located anywhere in the U.S. 48, but a Midwestern location would assist in the extensive travel required by this position.
Summary of job responsibilities: To participate in the formulation of marketing plans and campaigns with respect to internal fee programs; bring in new assets to client's fee programs using a highly consultative sales approach, strategize with execs to accomplish quarterly business growth goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To oversee, lead and/or assist in the development of internal fee program marketing plans and goals.
To implement such plans using phone and face-to-face visits with existing reps/advisors, as well as consultation and training for existing and newly recruited rep/advisors.
Ensure implementation of strategies designed to meet the marketing goals with on-time completion by creating workflow timelines and managing to deadlines and within budget.
Accurately and effectively develop and manage budgets and cost containment of internal fee marketing programs.
Effectively coordinate sponsor initiatives to provide cost-effective, high-quality program execution of third party marketing programs
Recommend and initiate product and program development to meet profitability / growth objectives.
Lead the creative content strategy on key marketing initiatives.
Develop and implement effective sales tools / marketing campaign that drive new customer contacts and interest.
Support the strategic planning of conferences through attending and participating in meetings as needed and providing valuable feedback as needed.
Work collaboratively both within the enterprise, as well as with alliance partners;
To report out to the VP, Marketing and other members of senior management on activities relating to the marketing objectives previously outlined in this job description.
To interface and make recommendations to senior management on upgrades or enhancements to the internal fee marketing programs and objectives;
Effective time and project management;
Professional and courteous problem solving and trouble-shooting of inbound phone, voice mail, e-mail and occasionally in-person inquiries from the companys existing registered representatives, new representatives and staff regarding product and/or sponsors affiliated with the firm.

Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or four years experience in the marketing and/or sales department of an independent broker-dealer; or combined, relevant education and experience or distribution experience with fee-based products. |
