| Position Responsibilities: |
Company is looking for a strong financial leader with experience in managing staff, budget development & analysis, financial modeling, and experience in a fast-paced environment. This position contributes to the overall mission of the Company by managing and overseeing all aspects of financial operations. We want a team player who works closely with executive leadership and handles the following:
• Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions to include hands-on daily processing
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the leadership team in performing their responsibilities
• Assure the integrity and security of financial systems and processes; the proper and responsible handling of all funds, and compliance with legal, regulatory and organizational financial and contract reporting requirements
• Improve the budgeting process through education of project team leads and department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets. Enhance and/or develop and implement reporting to enhance management information systems of the corporation
• Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies, procedures and financial systems of the organization to maintain the overall operation and effectiveness of the finance department and the company
• Arrange and prepare for audits as well as any other requested or required financial reviews
• Evaluate the finance department structure and team; plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the department as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals
• Oversee insurance and risk management
• Develop reporting and communication necessary for board, management, and other stakeholder presentations

| Education and Certifications/Licenses: |
Bachelors, CPA preferred |
| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Masters degree in finance, accounting, business administration or equivalent, and seven years’ progressively responsible accounting and analysis experience; or bachelor’s degree and ten years progressively responsible related experience; or other equivalent combination of education and experience. Being a CPA and experience with FAR’s and government billing procedures is considered a plus. Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident Alien |
