Position Responsibilities: Internal promotion creates need for new talent!! CFO of publicly-traded company seeks a promotable SEC Supervisor to mentor. This is a “tailor made” job for a talented Big 4 professional or Fortune 1000 corporate heritage. Partner with the Controller, CFO, auditors and business units of this $500+MM business that is poised for future growth. Lots of visability and opportunity for promotion. Centerstage role to demonstrate your skills and leadership! OPPORTUNITY: Report to Bohan & Bradstreet placement high quality leader and mentor! CFO of publicly-traded company seeks a promotable SEC Supervisor. This is a “tailor made” job for a talented Big 4 professional or Fortune 1000 corporate heritage. Prepare financial statements for monthly Board of Directors review, ratios, annual report, financial covenants and earnings release as well as footnotes for SEC filings (Forms 10Q, 10K), other regulatory filings, ratios and annual report data. Implement new GAAP requirements. Calculate basis and diluted EPS and average number of shares outstanding. Prepare and post consolidation entries for subsidiary allocations, billings, cost calculations and inter-company charges. Provide financial information to operating business units. Responsible for preparation of schedules for taxable income (Schedule M, carrying costs, non-operating income). Incorporate new accounting, tax or regulatory standards/rulings and develop, update and implement financial policies, practices, and procedures. Prepare metrics to monitor financial performance.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, CPA or MBA a plus
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA in Accounting, CPA or MBA a plus. Big 4 or Fortune 100 heritage. 3+ years experience. Strong executive presence. Upwardly mobile assertive contributor. Solid Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (i.e. Oracle, Lawson, SAP, BAAN, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards) a plus. SEC experience desired. Great Quality of Life!!
