9280 Executive Director of Finance Job

Location: CA-Los Angeles  
West Coast/Northwest (CA, OR, WA, AK & HI)
Salary Range: 150,000 - 150,000
Total Compensation: 150,000 - 150,000
Job Description: In this dynamic and challenging position, you will support the Division by ensuring financial statements are in accordance with GAAP, working as a business partner with Division Sr. management, providing commercial support, reporting company performance, identifying opportunities, risks and cost cutting initiatives, managing key performance indicators and implementing efficiency initiatives. The ideal candidate will be creative, hands-on, and have experience in integrating financial operations and systems resulting from mergers, acquisitions and divestiture activities. The ideal candidate must also be assertive, self-directed, innovative and driven by details and deadlines. This position will be located in company’s Los Angeles office, and reports to the CFO of in London. The position will also work closely on a day to day basis with the Division President in Los Angeles and the US Regional Director of Operations. Position Responsibilities: • Business Partner with Sr. Management • Balance sheet and P/L analysis • Enhance financial analysis and reporting • Interact with Corporate Accounting • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley • Development of cost reduction and cost management initiatives • Implementation and monitoring of efficiency initiatives • Reporting of actual results, forecasts and budgets • Ad-hoc reporting of business performance
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, None, None
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Position Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA +, Masters preferred • Understanding of GAAP and its application to business issues • 8 to 15 years progressive accounting/finance experience • Exceptional analytical and financial analysis skills with passion for details and “digging in” • Strong Computer aptitude and proficiency, including expert Excel skills. Reporting functions will require ability to quickly obtain Oracle General Ledger mastery, as well as proficiency querying a number of Oracle and proprietary databases using SQL, therefore related experience a plus. • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail. Ability to organize and work with large amounts of complex information, managing multiple project priorities. • Outgoing personality and ability to establish rapport and work efficiently with all team members serving various functions at various levels. • Exceptional communication skills with ability to present analysis and findings in both verbal and written formats to all levels of management and size of group • High degree of maturity, diplomacy and professionalism. Self-starter and independent thinker who has the desire to work in a fast-paced organization.
