Location: NY-Manhattan  
Mid-Atlantic (DE, DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA & WV)
Salary Range: 80,000 - 80,000
Total Compensation: 90,000 - 90,000
Job Description: Leading Media & Entertainment conglomerate seeks a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. • Coordinate the submission and consolidation of quarterly business unit forecasts and annual budgets. • Prepare consolidated forecast/budget package and presentation, which provides executive management with insight into variances vs. prior forecasts and periods, revenue growth and composition, and other key areas. • Prepare quarterly board financial package that examines the company’s quarterly results and short-term projections. • Coordinate preparation of monthly board metrics, including both financial and non-financial information. • Assist Corporate Finance, External Reporting, and Investor Relations in reviewing actual results and examining variances vs flash, forecast, budget, and prior periods. • Coordinate the submission and consolidation of weekly flash reports from each of the divisions. Communicate consolidated results to senior management. • Coordinate the submission and consolidation of quarterly cash flow forecasts, including monthly cash spend updates. Prepare weekly updates based on flash information. • Work with Business Development to provide information for the analysis of strategic initiatives, partnerships, and acquisitions. • Prepare various ad hoc reports, as requested. • Supervise a Financial Analyst
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelor's, None, None
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principals in conjunction with excellent verbal, analytical, written and interpersonal skills. • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment • Ability to identify and solve problems • Ability to deliver value added analyses to senior management. • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Powerpoint and the ability to learn specific computer programs as needed. Education Required: BA in accounting, CPA or CPA in progress Necessary Experience: 3-5 years of general accounting experience-music industry experience a plus.
