JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager for our client’s Albany, NY office. As part of the growing Financial Services Team, the successful candidate will be called on to manage multiple audit projects by maintaining client relationships, supervising staff and gathering necessary information to provide a timely, quality product to each client. The AUDIT MANAGER WILL:
• Direct all phases of an audit, compilation, or review engagement.
• Maintain contact with clients throughout the year and focus on maintaining and expanding business relationships by drawing on his or her thorough knowledge of
the client and all facets of the client's business.
• Plan, schedule and staff engagements using the firm’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain familiarity with the qualifications of all Team Members and review assignments.
• Adhere to engagement time budgets.
• Supervise and provide on-the-job training to Team Members.
• Prepare and review work papers and reports.
• Anticipate engagement problem areas and questions that may arise.
• Inform Partners of all important developments on engagements, analyze problems and
recommend solutions.
• Communicate progress of engagements, problems and resolutions to client.

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
CPA plus 4 to10-years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
|
| Preferred Qualifications: |
7+ years public accounting experience, construction or government experience preferred. |
