Our client is an independent community bank which provides personalized, quality service to private individuals and local businesses in Hartford, CT. Many banks have become very conservative and are not aggressively looking for new business customers because of an unsteady economy. Our client is not one of them. This bank is a very stable institution with a very profitable history, strong financial statement and a record of underwriting prudent business loans. When other banks are treading water and trying to maintain their existing business client base, our client is growing and winning new clients daily. This client has been diligent in not taking on risky loans but also has the financial stability to be flexible with companies that might be going through hard times. Only candidates with formal credit training or financial statement understanding will be considered. Openings are for Business Bankers or loan originators in Commercial banking with at least 3 years experience. Brokers will not be considered. This position will also include managing a top book of business from a commercial lender who was recently promoted and relocated. The best candidate with the most experience and list of accomplishments will inherit some of the top business clients of this bank.Ideal for candidates that are serious about developing a book of business and have a passion for new sales as well as transferring some of their loyal customers. Transferring a book of business is not required but each candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of their territory and have many business contacts in the area. |
