| Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for overall management of general ledger and all journal entries. Review trial balance and supporting analyses
• Investment accounting - review investment related results, reports and reconciliations for Statutory and GAAP financial reporting.
• Quarterly and annual statement review, ensure all cross-checks are completed and explained, coordinate with regulatory department to ensure timely filing
• Review GAAP to Statutory accounting adjustments for statutory entities.
• Review quarterly expense accruals and fluctuation analysis.
• Review financial statement footnotes and quarterly results packages
• Coordination with Canadian Branch Office
• Special Projects and information requests as they arise

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Experience:
10+ years of experience in the financial services industry (Insurance industry experience highly desired) Undergraduate degree in accounting required. MBA preferred, but not required. CPA license preferred, but not required.
