| Job Description: |
Direct and oversee activities related to credit risk and credit quality of all retail and commercial loan portfolios. Provide credit policy and risk guidance to the centralized retail credit functions. Responsible for developing and implementing credit risk and review strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure soundness, diversification, liquidity, and maximum earnings for the bank.

Essential Job Functions:
Direct and oversee the strategic and tactical operations of the Credit Review Department with 25+ FTE’s in multiple locations. Ensure appropriate credit and risk policies, standards, controls and procedures are established to promote diligent assessment, measurement, management and reporting of credit risk throughout the organization. Oversee the development and implementation of appropriate financial models for risk analysis, risk measurement, simulation and stress testing analyses. Provide recommendations to top credit and loan executives regarding structuring and reviewing credits to reduce fundamental weakness in the company’s credit or loan policies. Coordinate loan review activities designed to evaluate credit risk and maintain the integrity of the credit rating systems; ensure that deviations from policy are corrected. Partner with line of business executives to manage portfolio to meet quality and profitability objectives; monitor and assess credit risk across all lending lines of business. Coordinate reviews with lending staff and external parties, including regulators and auditors.
