| Job Description: |
Reporting to the Vice President Tax, the Tax Manager is accountable for federal and state tax compliance, research, tax accounting, tax audits, and planning. The Tax Manager has one Tax Accountant as a direct report. This position interfaces externally with tax authorities and internally with other accounting and business team personnel. Specific Job Duties: • Reviews Company’s US federal, state and local tax returns. • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local tax requirements. • Reviews quarterly tax provisions and estimates. • Manages the data gathering and computes the US FAS 109 and FIN 48 income tax accounting for inclusion in the Company’s financial statements. • Coordinates tax strategies for federal, state and local tax filings. • Manages all US federal, state, and local tax audits, correspondence, protests and appeals. • Negotiates proposed adjustments and resolution of tax audits with appropriate tax authorities. • Supervises the tax staff as required. • Participates in more complex tax department projects such as effective tax rate planning, federal, state and international tax planning and research, cash tax savings planning initiatives and other projects. • Ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley 404 requirements |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
• Accounting of Finance Degree • Minimum 4 years of experience in Federal tax and FAS 109 • Analytical, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy with the ability to work with fixed deadlines. • Proficiency in various computer software programs. |
