| Job Description: |
Publicly Traded Fortune 500 Company in Southern Connecticut region seeks a Director– SEC Reporting Responsibilities: The Director – SEC Reporting is primarily responsible for the Company’s SEC reporting. The position will report to the VP of External Reporting. The position will have primary responsibility for: · Company SEC 10-K’s and 10-Q’s, and 8-K’s according to US GAAP standards · Actively participate in the Company’s debt and SEC registration processes · Provide oversight to the Company’s quarterly process for the preparation and issuance of the Financial Review Book · Manage Company’s overall Financial Calendar for the quarterly close process including coordination with the CEO, CFO and Controller’s offices · Oversee the preparation and review of Company’s benefit plan financials/subsidiary financials · Communicate and lead relationships with senior management, Outside Auditor, and if necessary, the SEC · Develop/Lead Quality six sigma initiatives to continuously improve external reporting processes |

| Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: |
Required Qualifications and Competencies: * 8-12 years of relevant experience including external reporting, technical accounting, accounting, and financial analysis * Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA is a plus. * CPA |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
* Strong accounting background and the ability to interpret SEC and US GAAP * Knowledge of IFRS plus |
